Instead of going to Madagascar to study lemurs with her mom Tara Brennan is going to spend her summer in Willow Falls with her cousin Emily. When Tara gets there she meets a woman named Angelina. Angelina says if Tara can’t find 12 objects by her 13th birthday on Friday, July 13th, something bad will happen like losing her immortal soul kind of bad. Can Tara and her new friends Amanda, Leo, Rory, and David find the objects in time?
My favorite part of the book was when Tara and her friends put on a play. I liked this part because I thought it was funny and exciting!
