On April 10th, 2012, RBE 5 th graders got to Skype with Tom Angleberger! Tom Angleberger is the acclaimed author of The Strange Case of Origami Yoda and Darth Paper Strikes Back.
The Strange Case of Origami Yoda was one of the 2011-2012 Texas Bluebonnet Books, AND it won the Texas Bluebonnet Award! Read all about it and see Tom’s acceptance speech below.
One of the cool things we did this year, was that I read The Strange Case of Origami Yoda aloud to ALL 5th graders. Then, we culminated that read aloud with an Origami Yoda folding extravaganza!
