This week at the RBE Library, 4th graders are going to come to the library and continue to learn about figurative language.
Our fourth graders are learning lots about how writer’s can use figurative language, and also how to recognize it as readers.
Figurative language is a very powerful tool for writer’s because it helps the reader by creating very specific visual images either by making a comparison or using the words for an intended effect.
We are going to have 5 stations set up to help students explore how figurative language is used by authors. Also, students will get to play with figurative language at each station as well!
