This week at the RBE Library, when kindergarten and first grade come to the library, I will be reading Imagine Harry by Kate and M. Sarah Klise. This is a fun book about the character Little Rabbit, and his imaginary friend, Harry.
Most kids when they are young have imaginary friends and play with imaginary beings. I think this will be a fun book for our youngest students, because I think they will have a fun time pretending what Harry looks like. I am going to ask the students to draw or sketch or describe what they think Harry looks like using this page here.
After we read the book, we are going to talk about what it means to revise and make changes to our work. I am going to show them these sketches by the book creators so the kids can see the process they went through and how they revised and changed their work.
